School Board Goals

The Sitka School District will:

  • 100% of Sitka School District students will have at least one year of measurable growth every school year.
  • 100% of our students will graduate.
  • 100% of all middle and high school students will have a post-graduation plan.
  • 100% of students will have access to mental health supports.

The School Board will:

  1. promote the new SSD Strategic Plan and the implementation of the Action Plans to meet the District's goals.
  2. refine the curriculum review cycle.
  3. conduct quarterly check-ins with the Superintendent as part of the evaluation process.
